The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un met the labour innovators and merited persons who participated in the celebrations of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK at the office building of the Party Central Committee in September last year.
Saying that it is a great source of strength and inspiration for the Party and the state that they have lots of patriots who are devotedly working to lighten the heavy burden of the country even a bit while thinking about the state affairs before their family affairs and doing any jobs, toilsome or difficult, without hesitation, he had a meaningful photo session with them.
He also hosted a grand reception for them in the courtyard of the Party Central Committee and highly praised them as labour innovators and merited persons whom the Party regards as the cornerstone and pillar of the state.
Among them were a merited weaver who has vigorously waged the multi-loom tending movement for over past 20 years, a workteam leader who has reaped large crops for tens of years, a teacher who has made painstaking efforts for the education of the rising generation, and other ordinary persons who have engaged in different occupations.
Unlike the other people, they have truly loved their jobs and lived and worked enthusiastically and devotedly for the country.
He said that our sacred history of patriotism is attributable to the feats of the labour innovators and persons of merit who have made great contributions to enriching the country’s wealth by devotedly working at their worksites and posts and to opening up the efflorescence of socialist civilization by exalting the honour of the country in the van of scientific and cultural fronts.
Among them was an ordinary veteran actor who was well-known among the Korean people as a famous actor for playing the part of baddie rather than the positive character in feature films or TV dramas.
Tears gathered in his eyes when Kim Jong Un called him as his baddie’s name and sympathized with his mental suffering when he had played the part of villain.
As a result, all of them were widely known to the people across the country and became the objects of others’ envy.
