Chinese Society for Human Rights Releases Report Condemning the U.S. Act to Politicize Human Rights

Recently, Chinese Society for Human Rights made public a report under the heading of “U.S. act to politicize human rights destroys the foundation of good human rights governance.”

The report exposed the fact that the U.S. politicized human rights issues and used such means as selectivity, double standard and unilateral coercive measures in order to defend its political interests and supremacy over the world.

It also pointed out that the U.S. interference in other countries’ internal affairs and invasion of sovereign states under the pretext of human rights led to wars, social unrest and new human rights disasters with public welfare falling into agony.

The report condemned the U.S. act to politicize human rights for posing a grave threat to promotion of universal human rights work and bringing devastating consequences. It also stressed that a death knell would sound the decline of the U.S. supremacy amid the triumphal song of promoting the universal human rights work.

Prior to this report, the Chinese Society for Human Rights had made public a report entitled “limitation and evil practice of American-style democracy”.

The reports released by China one after another give a definite answer to the question: who is responsible for the global human rights disaster and social unrest?

The current situation where the U.S. carries out frantic anti-China campaign under the disguise of “human rights” and “democracy” resembles the “human rights diplomacy” exercised unhesitatingly against the former Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The world is still not in peace due to the acts of the U.S. which aggravates the ideological and systematic confrontations and fans artificial disputes over human rights for the purpose of realizing its selfish political aims and maintaining supremacy even by politicizing pandemic crisis and the Olympics.

In order to hold fast to impartiality and universality in solving international issues and to ensure global peace, the political fabrication staged by the U.S. based on double standard should never be overlooked.
