One day an official received a phone call from President Kim Il Sung.
As it was lunchtime, he guessed that an urgent problem arose. But the topic was that the President saw children in a street wearing clothes with buttons off.
The President meticulously told the official to take a relevant measure and work out a way to prevent such phenomenon.
And then, as if he did not feel easy, he said:“How about doing like this? Let teachers and the Children's Union instructors make little button pockets and put them in drawers of teaching desks so that they can sew buttons on the clothes of pupils who lost their buttons.”
The official was deeply moved, thinking that it was a good idea that could be thought of only by the President, benevolent father of all children of the country.
At the very moment he heard some clinks coming out from the phone. They were clearly the clinks of a spoon and chopsticks.
Tears welled in the official’s eyes as he only then realized that the President called him over lunch.
