Rodong Sinmun Calls for Achieving Victory in Today's Epidemic Prevention Campaign by Dint of Single-Hearted Unity

Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun in an editorial on Saturday calls on all the officials, Party members, working people and service personnel to successfully wind up today's epidemic prevention campaign by thoroughly implementing the idea of the 8th Political Bureau meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and demonstrate to the world once again the dignity, prestige and irresistible might of our Party, state and people.
It is our Party's noble mission and consistent principle to bear responsibility for the people's destiny and take good care of them even in the worst situation without the slightest compromise as regards the protection of the people's lives, the editorial says, and goes on:
The seasoned leadership of the Party's Central Committee, which confirms revolutionary and scientific strategy and tactics for successfully overcoming the present public health crisis and vigorously advancing socialist construction and leads its realization with due care, inspires our people with firm conviction in victory and optimism.
The great difficulties facing us now due to the sudden situation are serious but not insurmountable.
The single-hearted unity in which all the people share the intention and action with the Party Central Committee is the fundamental key to achieving victory in the present epidemic prevention campaign.
Thanks to the strong organizing ability of the Party, government and people united in a single mind, high political awareness and self-consciousness of all the people formed and boosted during the prolonged emergency epidemic prevention campaign, we can surely manage and control the present crisis in a short span of time and reliably defend the security of the state.
The editorial calls for overcoming the prevailing epidemic prevention crisis and victoriously winding up today's epidemic prevention campaign by dint of single-hearted unity, true to the noble intention of the Party Central Committee to safeguard the precious lives, life and future of the people in any emergencies at any cost.
