One day Chairman Kim Jong Il called in officials engaged on the construction of the Changgwang Health Complex.
Saying he heard that they were racking their brains over the water problem, the leader asked them about their plan for solving the problem.
One official answered that there was no other way, except to filter the used water to reuse it like other countries.
After listening to him carefully, he said that even 1 percent of old water should not remain in the bathtubs and swimming and wading pools to be used by the people and stressed the need to find out a way on the principle of drawing out all the water and filling in clean water 100 percent. He then unfolded a floor plan of the area and suggested pumping up the water of the Taedong river as he drew the line linking the bathhouse with the river, adding that our Workers’ Party era is just when we make water flow as the people wish.
The clean water in every water tank at the Changgwang Health Complex still conveys the love for the people of Kim Jong Il who only cared for them.
