Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an editorial stresses that the Workers' Party of Korea is the great motherly party which regards the devoted efforts for the good of the people as its unique mode of existence and the revolutionary climate and devotes itself to the people.
It is the Party's view on the people to regard them as the images of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and uphold them as the President and the Chairman, the editorial says, and goes on:
Those who should become the core in realizing the Party Central Committee's noble intention of loving the people are none other than the officials.
It is the firm resolution of the Party to make our people who believe the Party as the whole of their destinies into the happiest one in the world.
An official who values the people and gives priority to their convenience is the one remaining loyal to the Party.
All the officials should be estimated for their loyalty and power of execution before the Party and the people by working to the best of their abilities with high consciousness as the faithful servants of the people, strong desire to work and forward-looking work attitude.
They should keep the truth deeply that the justification of their existence is for the people and the greatest power is among the people.
They should strive to know the demand of the masses and public feelings in time among the people.
They should always regard the benefit and convenience of the people as the absolute standard of the work and submit everything to them.
The editorial calls on all the officials to become the faithful servants loved by the people and finding happiness and pride in working for the people, keeping the Party's noble view on people deeply in their minds.
