Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial says that the on-going general advance for remarkably increasing our own strength and definitely turning the socialist construction into comprehensive development under the unprecedented national crisis is the revolutionary advance to be dynamically accelerated by dint of indomitable patriotic struggle of all the people.
The prosperity and development of the country are guaranteed by the patriotic struggle of every citizen, the editorial says, and goes on:
When all citizens devote patriotic efforts at their posts and worksites with high consciousness and enthusiasm to serve as a cornerstone supporting the prosperous country, the country will grow stronger and win victory after victory even under any difficulty.
Our people's inexhaustible patriotism serves as a food and root for building up the great country into a power.
The stern annals of our revolution have been woven with unprecedented miracles and amazing events and our country has stored the tremendous strength even under the escalating threat and blockades. This would be unthinkable without the noble mental world and heroic struggle of our people who have invariably advanced along the road of patriotism, putting the state affairs above their family affairs and valuing the collective interests much more than personal luxury, regardless of whether they are known or unknown and rewarded or unrewarded.
As all the people have cemented the cornerstone of the country with their sincere sweets and efforts, shouldering the hardships facing the state for themselves, our country could dynamically advance and make leap forward without any moment's stagnation and stalemate under the manifold trials and hardships, opening up the great era of our state-first principle.
The editorial calls upon all the officials, Party members and other working people to become the dependable cornerstone supporting our country and true patriots devoting themselves to its prosperity and thus vigorously bring a new phase of the vibrant state development.
