Believing in the people as in heaven and making devoted service for their wellbeing are the political philosophy and ideal of the Korean-style socialism.

It is the political philosophy of Juche that one shall always emerge victorious if he believes in the people and relies on them at all times; if he is forsaken by them, he shall always fail. It is the noble political ideal of believing in the people as in heaven and taking responsible care of their destiny and life with the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for their benefits.

The Korean-style socialism, which embodies the ideas of believing in the people as in heaven and devoted service for their wellbeing, is the genuine people’s country which takes care of their lives and living on its responsibility.

The core of the ideas is the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.

At present, gigantic projects to build dwelling houses are going on in Pyongyang and the Komdok area in order to solve the housing problem of people, and practical measures are being taken to increase the production of consumer goods. This is not because the country has a surplus of materials and funds, but because it is the most important work for the Workers’ Party of Korea and the state to relieve the people of any sign of their mental anguish and solve other knotty problems in their living. As it has a high sense of responsibility as the protector of their destiny, the Party issued a special order to stabilize and improve their living standards, and is dynamically pushing ahead with the work to supply children across the country with dairy and other nutritive foods.

The Korean-style socialism is a great country which even guarantees the future of the generations to come.

For the rising generations! This is the ennobling spirit which runs through the whole historic course of the Korean revolution.

The strategy for readjustment and reinforcement set forth at the Eighth Congress of the WPK is aimed at building the economy which runs smoothly without being affected by any external influence so as to guarantee the future of the country. And the Party is showing the greatest concern for the sci-tech development and the training of talented personnel in order to realize the people’s dreams and ideals as early as possible by making an epoch-making leap forward. The forest restoration campaign and the afforestation and water conservation campaign, which are the long-term undertakings of the country, are in full swing, and a great golden age of construction has been ushered in. The present reality gives the people conviction for the bright tomorrow of the Korean-style socialism.

It is a science that socialism, the aspiration and desire of the people, emerges victorious. However, the victorious advance of socialism, however wonderful it is, is inconceivable apart from the leadership of a great leader.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is the great leader who leads the cause of socialism along the road to a brilliant victory with his self-sacrificing devotion for the people, cherishing absolute trust in and ardent love for them.

He unhesitatingly makes crucial decisions whatever great difficulties he may experiece for the good of his people who always believe in and follow the Party. With a view on life that he would be okay even if his body is spread like grains of sand on the road for defending the people’s trust, he brings their ideals into reality.

As he gives ceaseless guidance trips to all parts of the country in order to provide the people with a great, prosperous and powerful country, the Korean people believe in him absolutely and make vigorous efforts for the comprehensive development of socialism, true to his leadership.
