Spokesperson for Chinese Foreign Ministry Exposes Miserable Human Right Situation of Afro-Americans

It is now 160 years since the United States issued the “Emancipation Proclamation”. In this connection, a spokesperson for Chinese foreign ministry recently exposed the miserable human rights situation of Afro-Americans as follows:

The U.S. has a 246-year-long history since its founding and one-third of this history is covered by the “legitimate” existence of slavery.

The “Emancipation Proclamation” was issued in 1862. But until today, 160 years later, Afro-Americans are still under the yoke of racial discrimination.

According to data, compared with white people, Afro-Americans who are less than 13% of the population are over 2 times more likely to be shot dead by the police, 2.9 times more likely to be dead and 6 times more likely to be detained owing to violent law enforcement by the police, 3 times and 1.9 times more likely to be infected and killed by the novel corona virus respectively.

The U.S. administration should squarely see its historic crime, take practical measures to improve the human rights situation of the ethnic minorities in the country and stop insulting other countries behind the signboard of human rights.

The above statement of the spokesperson for Chinese foreign ministry serves as scathing denunciation toward the U.S.-the world’s biggest human rights violator- which indulges in pointing its finger at others’ human right situation while posing as a “human rights judge” and “defender of human rights”.
