Officials, working people, youths and students from scores of units in the DPRK made a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu in a little more than 15 days from the outset of the year.
After holding a kick-off meeting before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the Samjiyon Grand Monument, those officials of various units started their study tour with firm determination to overcome all difficulties by following the tenacity, combative nature and revolutionary spirit of the forerunners.
Party members and working people from different parts of the country, including Pyongyang and Hyesan cities and Riwon County, are taking part in the winter study tour of Mt Paektu.
Students of Kim Il Sung University and senior middle schools in Wonsan City, Kapsan County and other areas joined the ranks of tour.
Through the winter study tour, many people have deeply grasped the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu.
The visitors toured such revolutionary battle sites as Paektusan Secret Camp, Chongbong and Konchang bivouacs, Mudubong Secret Camp, Mupho Bivouac and Taehongdan Revolutionary Battle Site.
They studied the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas, while conducting a contest of singing songs in chorus while marching in array.
They climbed up to the top of Mt Paektu, singing the song "We Will Go to Mt Paektu".
The study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu continues.
