Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Thursday dedicate articles to the centenary of President Kim Il Sung's 250-mile journey for learning.
Rodong Sinmun in an editorial article says that the 250-mile journey for learning was the first step of Korea's great ambition for the fundamental idea, path and eternal future of the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of the popular masses for independence.
The great ambition of Korea associated with the first step of history is the one of the national self-respect to value the dignity and honor of the nation and glorify it by its own efforts and the patriotic one to achieve the independence of the country and build a prosperous and powerful state on this land at any cost, says the article, and goes on:
It is also the great ambition of uninterrupted revolution to realize the far-reaching ideal and goal without fail by fighting through generations.
The 250-mile journey for learning made by President Kim Il Sung was an immortal milestone of epochal significance in making the Korean revolution a genuine revolutionary cause serving the country and people from A to Z.
True to his father's high intention, he left Badaogou on March 16, Juche 12 (1923) and made a long journey for Mangyongdae. This was an event noteworthy in the history of the Korean revolution and the world revolutionary movement.
The first step of learning made by the President with the great ambition of Korea was the path of history, through which he brought the dawn of the Juche era advancing in reliance on the inexhaustible strength of the popular masses, the masters of the revolution.
Today when the Korean revolution has entered the period of overall national prosperity, a historic turning point of the Juche revolution, the importance of the pure succession of the first step is remarkably increasing.
Let us give steady continuity to the first step of history associated with the great ambition of Korea under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un - this is the unanimous desire and unshakable will of all the officials, party members, working people and youth, the descendants of President Kim Il Sung and soldiers and disciples of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Minju Joson in an article says that the sacred revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered and led by the great leaders is given steady continuity thanks to Kim Jong Un, the peerlessly illustrious commander.
