Researchers of Kim Chaek University of Technology developed a new-type machine of washing and sterilizing fruit-bearing vegetables by making use of plasma and ultrasonic technologies.
It removes not only soil and dust on the surface of fruit-bearing vegetables but organic substances, bacteria, virus and others. Its sterilizing capacity is greater than the existing machine.
It is designed to improve washing and sterilizing effects and the capacity of resolving organic substances by creating fast air bubble flow and ultrasonic field in liquefied ozone, a washing medium.
It can be effectively used in different fields of the national economy, that is, in washing and sterilizing raw materials and packaging containers at foodstuff- and fruit-processing factories and pharmaceutical plants and treating waste water from fish farms and swimming pools.
