Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an editorial says that the torch of patriotic movement, a drive for increased production held by officials and workers of the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine under the Kaechon Area Coal-Mining Complex, serves as a banner of struggle and advance kindling the flames of revolution and patriotism throughout the country.

The ever-mounting all-people fighting spirit and the rapidly elevating atmosphere of the whole society are a powerful demonstration of the validity and vitality of the Party's unique idea on the mass movement and a strong eruption of the mental power and creative ability peculiar to the Korean people who love making revolution and working and have a strong sense of patriotism, the editorial says, and goes on:

The torch of the socialist patriotic movement for increased coal production in coal field of South Phyongan Province is a flame of loyalty and patriotism kindled by the heroic struggle of the officials and workers of the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine who have turned out as one in response to the appeal of the Party Central Committee and are devoting themselves to the prosperity of the country.

Loyalty to the Party is the ideological and spiritual quality of the Korean people. For the Korean people, the intention and will of the Party Central Committee are science and victory, and the mass advance and mass innovation movement are the unique mode of activities and fighting style of supporting the plan and determination of the Party Central Committee with one mind and soul.
