Rodong Sinmun Friday in an editorial says that all the people of the country have turned out as one in the struggle to finish the harvesting and threshing qualitatively at the optimum time in response to the call of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
It is the consistent policy of the WPK to give powerful support to the countryside by mobilizing the entire Party, the whole country and all the people, the editorial says, and goes on:
The main thing in successfully concluding this year's farming is to finish harvesting and threshing at the optimum time.
The agricultural workers should harvest all grains in a responsible manner with ardent patriotism and pure conscience and thus fill the granary of the country.
Farming is an undertaking involving the entire Party, the whole country and all the people.
All regions, sectors and units should strengthen the labor support for the countryside.
Those involved in the labor support to farms should carry out their daily assignments correctly with the transparent viewpoint and stand that they are responsible for this year's farming together with farmers.
It is necessary to organize socialist emulation effectively and conduct detailed review and evaluation of each stage so as to encourage collective innovations in harvesting and threshing.
What our Party believes most in today’s agricultural production is patriotism of the agricultural workers directly responsible for farming, and the high spirit of all other people who have turned out as one in response to the appeal of the Party.
The editorial calls upon all the people to turn out in the struggle for successfully concluding this year's farming with ardent patriotic enthusiasm and finish the harvesting and threshing qualitatively in good time.
