Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- In the stirring period when an all-people advance is dynamically being made to glorify this year marking the 75th birthday of the DPRK and the 70th anniversary of the war victory as a year of great change, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un paid a historic visit to the Russian Federation to develop the DPRK-Russia friendly, cooperative and good-neighborly relations onto a new higher stage and powerfully encourage the just struggle for accomplishing the cause of independence against imperialism, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an editorial.
Through his official goodwill visit to the Russian Federation, the international position and influence of Juche Korea definitely steering the trend of world political situation were strikingly demonstrated once again to the whole world and the Korean people keenly felt the national pride and fortune of holding in high esteem the great master of independent politics, the great guardian of justice and peace, the editorial says, and goes on:
The position of the DPRK and its people has been put on the peak of the world, thanks to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un. Today the Korean people call the DPRK the great Kim Jong Un's Korea as it ushered in the era of our state-first principle, the most proud era ever in the 5 000-year-long history of the nation, demonstrating its prestige and mightiness all over the world.
The honor and pride of holding him in high esteem are the driving force that inspires all the people to the struggle for a new horizon of the comprehensive national development, hardening their faith in sure victory.
It is the unshakable faith of all the civilians and service personnel that their dream and ideal to build the most powerful country on this land would be surely realized in the near future under the outstanding and tested leadership of the respected General Secretary.
Let us all vigorously pave a wide avenue to the victory of Korean-style socialism by displaying the utmost redoubled efforts and spirit, with the pride of being the people of a powerful country led by the peerlessly great man.
