Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, there are many famous mountains and scenic spots.
Among them is Mt Chilbo, called "Hambuk Kumgang".
It, covering an area of hundreds of square kilometers, has magnificent and peculiar mountains and valleys, beautiful forests and seashore scenery, presenting natural scenic beauty that can not be found in other famous mountains.
Mt Chilbo is divided into Inner Chilbo, Outer Chilbo and Sea Chilbo according to its characteristics.
The scenery of Mt Chilbo is also enhanced by its natural and geographical features and climatic characters and different animals and plants.
Mt Chilbo has served as a pleasure ground and a cultural resort for the people as it has beautiful scenery and hot springs in different parts.
The mountain is associated with the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Thanks to his noble intention, many scenic spots in Mt Chilbo were newly unearthed and holiday camps and pavilions built and sightseeing roads stretched out to make the scenery of the mountain fresher.
Mt Chilbo, a scenic spot on the east coast turned into a better cultural resort, gives pleasure to the visitors.
