The Korean people's reverence for the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who put the DPRK on the peak of great dignity, adding eternal luster to the era of our state-first principle, is being fully displayed with each passing day, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an article.
The genuine national prestige depends on the greatness of the leader guiding the country, the article says, and goes on:
The patriotic will of the respected General Secretary precisely means his grandiose ambition and ideal to put the great Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea on the status of a powerful country admired by the world.
He remained unchanged in his determination to accomplish the great cause of building a thriving and powerful country in our own way and by our own efforts, not relying on any external support or foreign forces.
He laid the Party, the country and the people on the road of Juche and self-respect and led our revolution straight ahead without any deviation from this immutable orbit.
He unhesitatingly visited forefront posts and heights and took the lead in the dangerous military inspection for the powerful motherland and the beloved people which no one dares provoke.
The idea of self-reliance based on his noble patriotic idea and will was an all-powerful treasured sword that enabled all the people to work miracles and innovations in the struggle to build a powerful socialist country and provide a sure guarantee for self-respect and prosperity.
Thanks to his loving care, the Korean people could increase their own strength to the maximum and make a rapid advance in socialist construction under the uplifted banner of self-reliance and self-development.
The pride and self-confidence of our people living and struggling in the era of our state-first principle can be cherished only by the victors who have performed epochal miracles by their own efforts.
