Elections of deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies took place in the DPRK on November 26.
People from all parts of the country gathered at polling stations with a resolve to further consolidate the people's power and demonstrate once again the advantages of people-centred Korean-style socialism through the elections.
Voters included young people as well as revolutionary forerunners who have traversed the road of patriotism, cherishing boundless trust in the DPRK government for decades since the country’s liberation.
Amid the strong desire of the people to uphold the government of the DPRK with pure conscience and obligation, workers across the country cast their ballots full of ardent patriotism.
Agricultural workers across the country elected representatives of the people, expressing their will to put their heart and soul into agricultural production by following the examples of patriotic farmers of the preceding generations.
The candidates for deputies were also burning with strong desire and enthusiasm to add glory to the most advantageous socialist system in the DPRK, bearing in mind the trust and expectations of the people.
The elections of deputies to the provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies served as a significant occasion for powerfully demonstrating growing enthusiasm of all the people to consolidate our revolutionary power into an invincible fortress and achieve prosperity and development of our great state, single-mindedly united behind the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
