Leading newspapers of the DPRK dedicate editorials to the day of the elections of deputies to the regional people's assemblies on Sunday.
Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the elections serve as an occasion of weighty significance in letting the people more firmly consolidate their power by themselves and strikingly demonstrating once again the strong mightiness and dignity of our country under the leadership of the great Party.

Under the wise guidance of the Party Central Committee our people's government creditably fulfills its responsibility and role in making the comprehensive development of the country and surely guarantees the independent and creative life of the people.
All the people have entrusted their destiny to the Party Central Committee, always sharing their intention and keeping pace with it. This is the true appearance of the single-minded unity of the DPRK that gets purer and stronger along with the advance of the revolution and intensified struggle.
All the electors are obliged to fulfill their duty as citizens of the dignified Republic in firmly consolidating our people's power by actively taking part in the elections of deputies to the regional people's assemblies with passionate political enthusiasm.
Let's bring earlier the overall state development and prosperity by giving full play to the might of the government of our Republic, more closely united around the Party Central Committee headed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
