Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung ’s Official Visit to Vietnam Observed

An opening ceremony of a photo exhibition and a reception took place at the Vietnamese Embassy in Pyongyang on November 27 to mark the 65 th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung ’s official visit to Vietnam.
Displayed courteously at the exhibition venue were photos documenting the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of DPRK-Vietnam friendly relations.
Present at the opening ceremony on invitation were Pak Sang Gil, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Sung Chan, President of Kim Il Sung University who is Chairman of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group, Pak Kyong Il, Vice-Chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is Chairman of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Association, Ri Hae Im, Vice-Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, and officials concerned.
Le Ba Vinh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the DPRK, and his embassy members were on hand.
Speeches were made at the opening ceremony.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony declaring the opening of the photo exhibition, the participants looked round the photos on display.
A reception was then followed.
