A photo exhibition, a film show and a reception took place at the DPRK Embassy in Hanoi on December 5 to mark the 65 th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung ’s official visit to Vietnam.
Displayed at the venue were photos documenting the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and respected Comrade Kim Jong Un during their external activities for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Vietnam.
Present there were officials of the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Vietnam, the Academy of Social Sciences, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the General Confederation of Labor, the Women’s Union, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association, Vietnamese newspaper Nhan Dan, other political parties, government ministries, organizations and institutions of Vietnam, and charge d’affaires ad interim and other staff members of the DPRK Embassy.
The participants looked around the photos on display and watched a video showing the boundless reverence of the progressive mankind for the peerlessly great men.
Speeches were made at the reception.
On the same day, floral baskets were sent to the DPRK Embassy from the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Vietnam, the Academy of Social Sciences, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League, the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Kindergarten, the Vietnam News Agency, etc.
Meanwhile, another event took place in Hanoi on November 23 to mark the 65 th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung ’s official visit to Vietnam.
