Ho Yong Ju, chief coach of the NamphoCity Taekwon-Do Team, was among the DPRK players who took the first place inthe country rankings and stood on the winner’s rostrum at the 22nd Taekwon-DoWorld Championships held last year.
She took part in a veteran categoryevent of the championships at the ageof 49 and won four gold medals.
She had got very nervous at the newsthat she would take part in the championships as she had finished her playingcareer a long time ago.
A daughter of an ordinary worker, Hobecame a Taekwon-Do player, chief coach and Merited Athlete under thebenevolent care of the country which found out her talents in her childhood andcalled her to different national events. Therefore, she trained hard, out of thefervent desire to repay the loving care and trust of the country with gold medals.
Her high aspiration and painstakingefforts resulted in the success of collecting four golds at the championships.
The country highly appreciated theachievements of this ordinary and simple woman, one ofmany mothers of the country, and the motherly Workers’ Party invited her to theFifth National Conference of Mothers.
Her four gold medals reflect herpatriotic intention to repay the affection and trust of the country withgreater success.
