There was an inaugural ceremony of the Russian president in the Kremlin, Moscow, on May 7.
A guard of honour entered the St Andrew Hall of the Kremlin, carrying the national and presidential flags of Russia, the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Russian presidential badge.
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin took a presidential oath in the presence of members of the Federation Council, deputies to the State Duma and judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation according to Article 82 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
The president of the Constitutional Court declared that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin was inaugurated as president of the Russian Federation.
Putin delivered his inaugural address at the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by foreign diplomatic envoys of different countries in Russia.
That day Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a personal letter to Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the inaugural ceremony.
In the letter, Kim Jong Un warmly congratulated Putin once again upon his inauguration as president of the Russian Federation and wished him great success in his responsible work for the state and people of Russia.
The letter was conveyed through the Russian embassy in the DPRK.
