Pak In Chol, Chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), met with the delegation of the Federation Council of Russia headed by Grigori Rapota, Chairman of the Russia-DPRK Friendly Parliamentary Group and member of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, which paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on May 23.
He had a talk with the delegation in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Present there were Comrade Ri Chol, President of the Academy of Medical Science under the Ministry of Public Health who is the Chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendly Parliamentary Group, officials concerned and Comrade Alexandr Matsegora, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the DPRK.
Talks were held earlier between the Chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendly Parliamentary Group and his Russian counterpart to discuss issues related to promoting the exchange and cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
