Our Party’s people-first politics sets it as an important requirement to train the working masses, the master of politics and the decisive force of political governance, into powerful beings and forces.

In our country where the people-first politics is administered, the ideological work is the very core of Party work, a well-knit system of study has been thoroughly established throughout the Party and society, and the conditions and environment have been fully provided for all people to learn to their heart’s content.

Loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm pervade the whole country, the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance is being sublimated into the ideological feelings of all people, and the noble virtues and traits of helping and leading one another forward have been established to become the trait peculiar to our state. This is a brilliant fruition of the wise leadership of our Party which has always paid top priority to educating and training the masses of the people and preparing them politically, ideologically, culturally and morally.

For the past 10-odd years, our people have won valuable victories and made achievements of epochal significance one after another to prove the dynamic advance of our state, overcoming manifold severe difficulties.

The proud appearance of our people who join with the state in dealing with difficulties, being aware of their duty as the masters of the country, is a proud fruition of the WPK’s people-first politics.

Today our people are steadily hewing out the civilization of the new era with the struggle and creation of their own style while displaying the traits and personality befitting the citizens of a powerful country. It is unthinkable apart from the validity and vitality of the people-first politics.

Our Party’s people-first politics is a political mode in which the masses are regarded as the most powerful beings in the world and all problems are solved by enlisting their strength.

Our Party’s politics has displayed its absolute might and dynamically pushed forward our cause along the road of great victory and prosperity as it is a politics that attaches importance to the people and relies on their inexhaustible strength.

Whenever it was faced with uphill tasks and grave situation, our Party, cherishing absolute trust in the people, has found itself among them to work out a strategy and tide over difficulties and followed without hesitation the untrodden road of bolstering the national power together with them, demonstrating the dignity and prestige of Juche Korea to the whole world.

In such a hard time as it is having at present, our Party has set an ambitious goal for the comprehensive national prosperity and is confident of its victory as it firmly believes in loyalty, ardent patriotism and indomitable mental power of its people who absolutely support and carry out all its decisions and instructions even at the cost of their lives.

Our Party firmly adheres to an immutable revolutionary policy and fighting direction of bolstering up the military capabilities with the nuclear forces as its pivot, dynamically paves an avenue for rejuvenation and prosperity in keeping with the line of self-reliance, invariably enforces the people-oriented policies and directs efforts to developing science and education. The model entities that are created one after another in all fields of socialist construction in keeping with the developing times and the ever-increasing demands of the people clearly testify to the superiority and might of our Party’s people-first politics.
