Selected as one of the top ten players of the DPRK for 2023 in the wake of 2021 and 2022, Ri wonthe women’s 49kg weightlifting at the 19th Asian Games byestablishing a new Asian Games record in snatch and new world and Asian Games recordsin jerk and total, respectively. She won a gold, silver and bronze medals inthe women’s 49kg weightlifting at the 2023 IWF Grand Prix.

Pang Chol Mi won the title inthe women’s 54kg boxing at the 19th Asian Games.

The winner of the 51kg titleat the 2018 World Women’s Boxing Championships has been selected as one of the top ten players for the fourth time.

She was chosen as one of the top ten players of the DPRK for 2023 as she proved triumphant in the women’s59kg category wrestling of the 33rd World Military WrestlingChampionships and achieved successful results at other international games .

She was born into an ordinary family in Kangdong County of Pyongyang. In herchildhood, she began to learn wrestling techniques one by one, receiving systematiceducation.

She exalted the honour of the country by winning the final match in thewomen’s 62kg division wrestling at the 19th Asian Games last year.

In the women’s 59kg snatch of the 19th Asian Games, she established a newworld record in snatch and new records of the games and new world youth recordin jerk and total. She achieved good results in the women’s 59kg category atthe 2023 IWF Grand Prix.

Kim Yu Sim, Taekwon-Doist of the RyongaksanTaekwon-Do Team

She was chosen as one of theDPRK’s top ten players for 2023 in the wake of 2021.

She began to learn Taekwon-Do in her childhood and took part in domesticgames two years later, surprisingly entering the rankings.

Later, she cut a brilliant figure in every domestic event. She won a goldmedal in the women’s individual sparring at the 12th youth and 7th veteran Taekwon-Do world championships in2016.

She secured five gold medals and an individual technical prize at the 22ndTaekwon-Do worldchampionships last year.

He was chosen as one of the top tenplayers of the DPRK for 2023 in the wake of 2021.

He bagged gold medals after winning the men’s 81kgweightlifting by establishing new Asian Games records in snatch and total ofthe 19th Asian Games last year. He won three gold medals in themen’s 81kg category at the 2023 IWF Grand Prix.
