The "international forum in support of the just struggle of the Korean people for defending their sovereignty and peace" was recently held in Cairo of Egypt on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of joint anti-US struggle.

Posted on the internet homepage set up for the successful forum were a picture of the bronze statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and a photo of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Also blogged were a book eulogizing the history of revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Un run through with his devoted service for the people's well-being, congratulatory letters to the forum and written speeches.

Posted on the homepage were photos and video programs which show the historical facts and materials exposing the nature and brutal atrocities of the US imperialists as provokers of the Korean War and their ignominious defeat.

The international forum was attended by the Arab Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, the European Regional Committee for Friendship with the Korean People, the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee for Solidarity with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, international democratic organizations, personages of political parties of different countries, the Regional Office of the Arab-Korea Cooperation Council, and members of the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and Juche idea followers in different countries.

The Chairman of the Arab Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People spoke at the forum.

He said that along with the war victory on July 27, 1953, the DPRK was clearly recorded in the world as a bulwark in the East defending independence and justice at defiance with the most ferocious imperialism.

Under the wise leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un, a peerlessly great man, glorifying the achievements of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who rendered tremendous services to accomplishing the anti-imperialist independent cause and the cause of global peace with their resolute independent politics, the DPRK is now demonstrating its dignity and prestige as a fortress of anti-imperialist independence with the most powerful national might and as a mouthpiece of justice and truth, he added.

Then, there were speeches.

The forum adopted a letter to Kim Jong Un.

An appeal to the world progressive people was made public at the forum.

The appeal said the present situation demands all the progressive people of the world dynamically turn out in the struggle for destroying the high-handedness and arbitrariness of the imperialist reactionaries, defending sovereignty and achieving the global peace and justice. It called for conducting positive international activities to expose and denounce the crimes of the United States which provoked the Korean War and committed immoral crimes unprecedented in history.

It also appealed to wage a more vigorous struggle for foiling the vicious hostile moves of the United States and its vassal forces against the DPRK, that extremely worsen the situation of the Korean peninsula.

It called for sending full support and solidarity to the just self-defensive measures of the DPRK to prevent the danger of new war on the Korean peninsula and safeguard peace of the region and the rest of the world.

It pointed out that the world progressives should join the Korean people in their struggle for defending the sovereignty and peace of the country in unity.

The Korean people will surely win in the struggle for defending the sovereignty and security of the country and peace of the region and the rest of the world and building a dignified, prosperous and powerful country under the leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un, the appeal noted.
