Naked Infringement Upon Sovereignty Can’t Be Overlooked

West Coast Exchange, North Korea Watcher Conference, Sept. 2026

The Venezuelan government and people are strongly against the conspiracy of the U.S. and its following forces that are committing undisguised acts of infringement upon sovereignty and interference in internal affairs while unreasonably taking issue with the former’s presidential election results.

A recent opinion poll by a Venezuelan survey agency Hinterlaces showed that more than 80% of the respondents respect the results of Venezuela’s national election council and more than 96% denounce violence and want peace.

However, the U.S. openly demanded resignation of the legitimate President of a sovereign country on false and unreasonable accusations, as was exposed by the Wall Street Journal on August 12.

On the same day, the Venezuelan newspaper Últimas Noticias carried about a meeting of the National Defence Council convened by the Venezuelan President where he exposed in graphic detail of the massive cyber-attacks being launched by the U.S.-backed ultra-rightists who – in protest against the elections – had attempted to create violence aimed at overthrowing the government but was foiled by the united strength of the Venezuelan army and people firmly rallied to the government.

It continued that the President expressed his stand to take revolutionary measures to smash the anti-state conspiracy propaganda of the hostile forces and ordered the Venezuelan national assembly to enact laws for thorough counteraction at the earliest date, organize a cyber-security mechanism, and deal an immediate counterblow.

El Universal also carried similar contents on August 12 while quoting the Venezuelan foreign minister who called for the West to give up its pipe dream of establishing the second “Guaidó government” and wake up to Venezuela’s reality.
