Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Syrian President

Kim Jong Un , president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on September 3.
In the message, the Syrian president extended congratulations to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 76 th founding anniversary of the friendly DPRK and heartily hoped that the DPRK would steady prosperity and development and always demonstrate its might.
Taking this opportunity, we look back upon the heroic struggle waged by the Korean people against imperialism and colonialism under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung , the founder of the DPRK, and their great sacrifice for freedom and state building, the message said, adding:
Today when the imperialists persist in their vicious offensive, the Korean people under your leadership are carrying on the struggle against dominationism, adhering to their principles and continuing their advance, construction and development in all fields.
We will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen the historic friendly relations between the Syrian Arab Republic and the DPRK and develop bilateral cooperation in various fields in conformity with the mutual interests of the peoples of the two friendly countries.
The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness.
