Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from South African President

Kim Jong Un , president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Cyril Ramaphosa, president of the Republic of South Africa, on Sept. 3.
The message said:
Your Excellency,
On the auspicious occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on 09 September 2024, the Government and people of the Republic of South Africa join me conveying to Your Excellency, to the Government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, our warmest greetings and sincere congratulations.
This occasion provides an opportunity for the Government and the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to reflect on the history of the country, while focusing on a promising future. We are reminded of the support provided to South Africa by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea during our struggle for freedom and wish to indicate that these historical ties between our two countries have laid the foundation of our friendship.
May I take this opportunity to express the wish for Your Excellency’s good health and also reaffirm our desire for the friendship between our countries to continue to grow stronger and underpin the promotion of our bilateral relations.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
