The Workers' Party of Korea is a mass party of the working people representing the interests of workers, peasants and intellectuals.
The WPK was founded on the basis of the Juche-oriented idea and line of the great leader Kim Il Sung on party building on October 10, Juche 34(1945), and it has led the independent cause of the masses of the people to victory.
It was strengthened and developed into a powerful Party which achieved the single-hearted unity of the leader, the Party and the masses under the wise guidance of the great leader Kim Jong Il.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, who is glorifying the exploits performed by the great leaders in leading the Party, guided the Party to do its duty as the Party of the working people.
All his thinking and practice are run through with his activities to provide the people with the most abundant and civilized life as soon as possible.
The WPK with the people-first principle as its nature and sacred political idea regards it as the most important work to improve the people's living and works to this end. As a result, model entities for the people are produced in all parts of the country.
Today, the WPK has made a gigantic blueprint for happiness of the people and is powerfully leading the struggle to put it into practice.
Amid the extensive construction of rural houses and regional-industry factories across the country, the WPK has recently added the construction of advanced public health facilities, sci-tech learning spaces and grain management stations to the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" as new items.

"On January 22, 2019, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said to officials: As a deep-rooted pine tree is evergreen and strong, so the Party will never shake or fall down even in any storms but win victory after victory without any setback if it is rooted deep among the masses of the people. The working masses of the people are the soil in which the Party is rooted. Only the Party rooted deep among the masses of the people can perform its mission without losing its revolutionary and popular character."
The WPK is faithful to its mission and duty as the Party of the people entirely because it is under the energetic guidance of Kim Jong Un.
So the Korean people absolutely support, trust and follow the WPK.
