Confrontation moves against Russia by EU and the west go unabated.

Recently, EU and the West adopted resolutions one after another to make loans to Ukraine using the profit generated from the frozen Russian assets under their sanctions.

As already known, provision of loans to Ukraine using the profit from frozen Russian assets has been agreed by EU and G7 countries during the June G7 Summit held in Italy. Subsequently, loan to Ukraine was officially concluded by EU in October.

In addition, G7 defence and finance ministers issued a joint statement on short and long term loans to Ukrainian defence budget and reconstruction using the aforementioned proceeds. Corresponding decisions were also adopted by countries including the U.S., Japan and the UK.

The hostile act of the West against Russia is arousing strong opposition from the country.

The Press Secretary for the Russian President said that Europe was taking the worst road ever by robbing Russia of its shares and stated that those responsible will be dealt with legal investigation.

On the other hand, spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry denounced the EU decision as another fraudulent scheme to embezzle property of others and warned that the country would soon respond with resolute measures.

Russian Embassy to the U.S. also denounced such U.S. decision as a thievery.
