With the Ninth International Martial ArtsGames going on successfully, the 11th general meeting of the InternationalMartial Art Games Committee took place in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
Present there were Ri Yong Son, chairmanof the IMAGC who is president of the International Taekwon-Do Federation,executive members of the IMAGC and representatives of the internationalmartial arts federationsand national martial arts games committees.
The general meeting reviewed successesmade in the work for promoting the martial arts movement throughout the world, increasingthe ranks of the IMAGC and others over the past five years since the tenthgeneral meeting.
It also discussed various issues such asthe qualification and disqualification examination of new members, the revisionof the rules of the IMAGC, the introduction and decision of the host of the10th International MartialArts Games and theelection of the leadership body of the IMAGC.
The participants expressed their will to workhard to drum up the worldwide interest in the IMAGC and develop theinternational martial arts movement onto a new high stage under the ideal offriendship, cooperation and development in the future.
