Regional-industry factories have been successfully built in Orang County, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.
They include a modern seafood processing factory capable of producing tens of kinds of tasty marine products by making effective use of economic conditions of the coastal area, a foodstuff factory and a daily necessities factory. Their successful construction provides a solid foundation for steadily improving the residents’ living standards.
The people of Orang County splendidly celebrated the inauguration of the regional-industry factories on January 31.
Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, addressed the ceremony.
The eye-opening reality of the new era is a clear demonstration of the steadfast will and unshakable executive power of the WPK to make the capital envious of the regions, to make regional rejuvenation reflect the progress and development of the state and to make the ideal appearance of the regions represent a true picture of Korean-style socialism, he stressed.
Noting that when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Orangchon Power Station No. 5 in July 2018 despite the midsummer heat, he called for undertaking fish farming and aquaculture well by making good use of the sea and lake and indicated the detailed tasks and ways for doing farming well and improving the people's living in the county, the speaker stressed that today the General Secretary has provided the residents in the county with new modernly-equipped factories.
This grand inauguration ceremony is the first declaration of victory for bringing earlier the future of great transformation, in which the people's beautiful dreams and ideals come true, and a springboard for a new struggle and advance towards further development, he said.
Kim Chol Ho, chief secretary of the Orang County Committee of the WPK, made a speech.
He expressed his resolve to ensure that the regional-industry factories produce famous goods and products favoured by the people to make the benevolence of the Party reach the regional people continuously.
The masters of the new factories cut off the tape for inauguration.
Then the participants went round the factories.
A performance was given and fireworks were displayed in the sky over Orang County to celebrate the inauguration of the factories.
