In a bid to supply more fertilizer to farms, the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex is striving to increase production.
Last year the complex overfulfilled its production plan by keeping equipment in good repair. Entering this year, it has audaciously introduced new technical innovation proposals and conceptions in cooperation with a relevant unit, so as to make reinforced and expanded production lines pay off.
To make a breakthrough in production, it has carefully checked up the synthetic towers and compressors at regular intervals and during recesses while putting efforts to securing backup equipment.
It has remarkably boosted gas generation by improving the operation of gas generators and regularly checking up and maintaining rotating machines like oxygen blower. It has also increased the number of electrolytic baths in operation, which helps it carry out its economic plan.
In addition, it has raised the operating rate of machines like cranes, crushers and conveyor belts to supply raw materials in time. And it has paid close attention to insulating pipes as suited to the winter conditions, thereby reducing the loss of steam markedly.
