A meeting for awarding the title of top ten teachers of 2024 was held at the People's Palace of Culture on February 26.
Present there were Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Sung Du, minister of Education, officials and teachers in the field of education in Pyongyang.
Jon Sung Guk made a speech at the meeting.
A certificate of top ten teachers of 2024 was awarded to Pae Un Hui, a teacher of Kim Song Ju Primary School, Kim In Ok, a teacher of Rungna Senior Middle School in Taedonggang District affiliated to Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Kim Sung Bok, a teacher of Toksong Primary School in Phyongsong City affiliated to Phyongsong Teachers Training College, Ri Yong Hui, a teacher of Kusong Secondary School No. 1, Ro Myong Ju, chief teacher of Sariwon Orphanage, Ko Ryong Thaek, a teacher of Osang Senior Middle School in Yonggwang County, An Chang Hyon, a teacher of Sohae Senior Middle School in Waudo District, Yun So Gwang, a teacher of Kaesong Secondary School No. 1, Kung Jong Sik, a teacher of Phyongsong University of Education, and Ryu Sun Ok, head of a department of Sariwon Teachers Training College.
With a sense of responsibility that they are in direct charge of education, clear conscience of educator and high qualifications, they have devoted their wisdom and passion to making education into one that can shoulder the future of the country.
