Not only the agricultural workers but the people across the country rejoice to hear that the modern regional-industry factories as well as splendid rural houses have been successively built and the second-stage project for modernizing the Kumsong Tractor Factory has been completed.
The modern factory with perfect production lines, renovated buildings, newly-built, products exhibition halls as well as service establishments including gymnasium and hi-tech equipment controlled by flexible manufacturing system…
This proud reality is unthinkable without the wise guidance and great efforts of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who visited repeatedly the Kumsong Tractor Factory to take special measures for remodeling of the factory with the intention to totally rid the agricultural workers of arduous labor as President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il desired.
When he visited an exhibition of machinery and equipment on the occasion of the 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea, he, seeing the 80hp tractor newly made at the factory, expressed his satisfaction saying that the new type of tractor looked like a handsome man and called it iron horse for defending socialism.
Then he continued that a great achievement was to manufacture totally by our own efforts and technology the new type of tractor which its all technical capabilities were raised up to the world-level one.
In Nov. 2017, the respected General Secretary, during his visit to the factory, expressed his determination to renovate the Kumsong Tractor Factory into a world-level one, saying that a buzzing sound of the 80hp tractor was like a marching song of socialist Korea.
Then he gave some important instructions about issues arising in remodeling the factory.
In August 2023, when the second-stage project for remodeling the factory was on, the respected General Secretary visited it again to make inquiries about the project in detail and gave instructions as to hastening the project in substantial way.
Thanks to such energetic and meticulous guidance of his, a remarkable success was achieved in carrying out the task for the first stage of gigantic strategy for developing the machine-building industry set forth by the 8th Congress of the WPK.
It bespeaks that the Party’s plan and intention is accurately science and practice, and our socialist fields will be crowded with various farm machines and advanced and efficient tractors made by our own efforts.
