In the complexity of prevailing international political realm where injustice and violence, high-handedness and arbitrariness are rampant in international arena and confrontation between forces and conflict between systems go unabated, accompanied by atrocities of war, our Republic is fully demonstrating to the entire world its high-spiritedness and grandeur as an independent nuclear power, a socialist grand garden of single-hearted unity and a dignified and strong fortress of anti-imperialist independent cause undaunted by any torrent or wind.

This is by no means good luck provided by the grace of heaven nor by the mere accumulation of time.

It is one of the proud and glorious inevitabilities of history, the greatest national bliss and glory that guarantees a bright future of our Republic and infinite happiness of our people – all brought about by virtue of holding in high esteem our respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the leadership of our revolution. With his brilliant wisdom and outstanding leadership, he has unfolded the era of the most dignified power and the one of efflorescence of national prosperity on this land.

At the 4 th Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 5 th Session of the 12 th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK in April, 2012, we held in high esteem respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the leadership of our revolution. With this event in place, our Republic could display its might as an invincible power and also bring to completion the gigantic cause of boosting the national power and enhancing the people’s living standards, a great progress that had never even been dared by any others in the past centuries.

In the heart of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un burns the indomitable fighting spirit and full determination to build our country strong so that no one would dare to provoke. Also resides there is a firm conviction that the more he endures, the more dreams and ideals of our people will come true. It gave birth to a series of entities representative of brilliant miracles and great innovations wherever he visited, paying little heed to the pouring rain, snow or icy wind.

The might of a military power fully equipped with the physical means of self-defence capabilities to the consternation of the so-called world advanced nations and the inexhaustible national resources that enabled us to remove every trace of severe natural disaster and build a civilized town in the border area to the envy of the world in such a short span of time - all these cannot be construed otherwise than the crystallization of the honour and glory characteristic of our State led by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the great leader who devotes all his heart and soul to the beloved country and people.

Therefore, prominent figures, the mass media and the world progressive peoples speak so highly of the DPRK, the pioneer of independence and justice under the leadership of the prominent leader, and also envy our people’s happy and dignified life.

The high spiritedness of the entire people advancing towards the bright future in store for them, firmly united around respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and writing the epic of heroism, dynamic advance and fresh innovations, will surely bring about victory in the great cause of building a prosperous power that will strike the world with wonder in the near future.

The historic day when we held in high esteem respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the leadership of revolution teaches us as well as the entire world the philosophical truth that a country will be dignified and its people great when they are led by a great leader.
