The Ninth April Spring People's Art Festival, which opened on the occasion of the greatest auspicious April holiday of the nation, is going on with splendour at theatres and halls in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, every day.
Working people, youth and students in Pyongyang enjoyed the performances.
The performances represented the loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm of all the people across the country to perform ceaseless miracles and feats in the general advance for achieving the overall development of the state, true to the ideology and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , holding President Kim Il Sung in high esteem for all ages.
Members of art groups of Haeju City, Songchon County, Phyongchon District and Kumya County gave performances at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre, the Cultural Hall of the Ministry of Railways, the Central Youth Hall and the Central Hall of Workers.
The performers sang in high praises of the noble revolutionary career and exploits of the President who made a ceaseless journey of field guidance, regarding it as his lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven.
In poem and story "The Embrace of Eternal Affection" and "Great Fatherly Love", they impressively showed the devoted efforts of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is making tireless efforts to provide the people with a more affluent and civilized life.
Members of art groups of the Rason Municipal People's Committee, the Kangwon Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Management Bureau, the Sinpho City Offshore Farm and the September Textile Mill gave performances at the People's Palace of Culture, the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and other places.
The performances were acclaimed by the audience as they instilled greater confidence and optimism about Korean-style socialism in the minds of the people and showed their strong desire and will to devote their patriotic sweat and enthusiasm to the prosperity of the country.
Members of art groups of the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm, the Yahak Vegetable Farm in Kanggye City and the Kosan Combined Fruit Farm gave performances at other theatres and halls in the city.
The performers represented the proud reality in which the eye-opening entities of rural rejuvenation and regional changes have mushroomed in different parts of the country and rural villages of the whole country are turning into the ideal socialist towns day by day in the new era of overall prosperity and development unfolded by the Workers' Party of Korea.
