The Pyongyang Golf Course is located in Thaesong-ri, Kangso District, Nampho, which is famous for its clear and fresh air and picturesque scenery.
The Pyongyang Golf Course goes well with the picturesque forest and the placid lake, giving the golf enthusiasts a deep impression.
Inaugurated in September 1987, it was renovated in October 2019. It always bustles with golfers and tourists.
It is equipped with 18 golf courses, a general service centre, a guesthouse and angling sites, and can accommodate 200 persons at a time.
The total length of the golf courses is 6 777 yards, and there are trees and sand bunkers of different shapes.
All the courses have distinctive qualities, and the bunkers attract the attention of the players.
Many people visit the place to have a good time enjoying wonderful natural environment and kindly service of the attendants.
Cheers resound amid the mingled feeling of joy and regret at tense moments of striking that demands high skills and critical moments at the last hole.
An amateur golfers’ competition is held here every spring and autumn.
The competitions, held amid the interest and cheers of the golf fans and tourists, unfold colourful and impressive scenes.
The visitors, fascinated by the picturesque natural scenery and unusual sentiments, are reluctant to leave the golf course.
