DPRK and PRC Will Promote Cooperation for Global Justice and Equity

This year marks the 80 th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
The establishment of the United Nations eighty years ago, stipulating in its Charter the principles of maintaining sovereign equality and peace, offered a hope of a peaceful and equitable international community to the humanity that had suffered tragedy of the World War.
Yet such hope and anticipation of the humankind have failed to be materialized until today. Rather, the international society is witnessing the worst-ever unstable and grim situation since the World War II.
The United States and the West openly perpetrate tyranny of encroaching upon the sovereignty and interests of many nations in different parts of the world for the purpose of supremacy and domination.
Geopolitical landscape as such is increasing the risk of another world war and is having a more serious impact on the peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
It is imperative for maintaining global peace and sustainable development and cooperation to foil high-handed and tyrannical practices of the U.S. and the West and propel the establishment of a just and equitable international order.
Comrade Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, in his keynote speech at the opening of SCO Summit on 31 August, proposed the GGI. It is a reflection of the commitment to working in partnership with all nations in the world to advance the building of a just and equitable global order.
The GGI is of a great positive significance in defending the purposes and principles of the UN Charter in today’s world where supremacy and unilateral practices of the U.S. and the West are prevalent and tragic incidents happen one after another.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea remains firm in its commitment to safeguarding global justice, peace and security and promoting the building of a new multipolar world.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the People’s Republic of China have for long been supporting each other, sharing common position against domination and subordination, hegemony and high-handedness. The cooperation between the DPRK and the PRC to champion global justice and equity will further continue to grow.
