The DPRK Association for Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries and the DPRK-China Friendship Association hosted a reception at Okryu Restaurant on September 30 to mark the 76 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Present there on invitation were Comrade Wang Yajun, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK, staff members of his embassy and Chinese guests staying here.
Present there were Comrade Kim Sung Chan, President of Kim Il Sung University who is Chairman of the DPRK-China Friendship Parliamentary Group of the Supreme People’s Assembly, and officials concerned.
Speeches were made at the reception.
Referring to the historic significance of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, speakers said that the Chinese people have achieved the great successes in the struggle to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and realize the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China for the past 76 years.
They expressed the stand to make positive efforts for the development of the DPRK-China relations of friendship and cooperation in line with the noble intention of the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries in the future, too.
The participants toasted the good health of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and esteemed Comrade Xi Jinping as well as the steady development of the traditional DPRK-China relations of friendship and cooperation.
