At the recent meeting with the fraction leaders of the political parties of the State Duma, Russian President said that the contribution of Stalin to the victory in the Second World War should not be forgotten, noting that it is unfair to ignore the role of Stalin’s contribution to the victory of the Great Patriotic War and that of the Soviet people.
Meanwhile, in support of the July decision of the State Duma on reappraisal of the outcome of the 20 th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Speaker of the State Duma noted that the outcome of the congress gave rise to a negative attitude towards the Soviet leader who had devoted his all to achieve victory in the Great Patriotic War and build the country.
He called for the immortalization of the names of the leader and military commanders who protected the history of Russia and guaranteed the victory of the State.
