Seminars were held in provinces (municipalities) of the DPRK to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Present at the seminars were officials of the local Party, administrative organs and working people’s organizations and information officials in charge of theory from the fields of education, literature and arts, media and the preservation of revolutionary relics and Party cadres training institutions.
The seminars heard papers which proved in depth the immortal exploits performed by the peerlessly great men in founding and developing the glorious Workers’ Party of Korea and the important issues arising in ushering in a new era of strengthening the whole Party and achieving prosperity of the state by successfully carrying forward the Party’s original ideals and spirit.
The speakers said that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il were outstanding leaders and peerless statesmen who founded the Party and developed it into an invincible revolutionary party.
They referred to the fact that the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders in the history of founding and developing the Party are more clearly highlighted and brightened thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ’s original line of Party building in the new era and his energetic leadership.
They said that the 80-year-long ruling history of the WPK is a proud course in which it has led the socialist cause of Juche to victory, taking responsibility for the destiny of the people. They also proved that the devoted service to the people is the only justification for existence and eternal nature of the WPK.
They called for stoutly carrying forward the Party’s original ideals and spirit under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and thus dynamically ushering in a golden age of strengthening the whole Party and a new era of national prosperity.
