Personages of various circles in different countries paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on the occasion of the 80 th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).
Personages of political parties, governments, organizations and institutions of different countries including the China World Peace Foundation, the China Association for International Friendly Contact, the Committee for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the Gauteng Provincial Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in South Africa and the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea laid flower baskets and bouquets before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art works depicting the President and the Chairman standing together.
The vice-chairperson of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia, and the vice-chairperson and members of the Commission for International Relations of the People’s Party of Cambodia paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK mission.
Meanwhile, the general secretary of the Algerian National Liberation Front Party sent a flower basket and a congratulatory card, and the Lao Minister of Defense and the president of the Central Committee of the Lao Women’s Union flower baskets to the DPRK missions on the occasion of the 80 th founding anniversary of the WPK.
Flower baskets were also sent to the DPRK mission by the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry, the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association, the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences, the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee, the newspaper Nhan Dan, the Vietnam News Agency, etc.
