One day in September 2017, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Farm 1116 again.
Making the rounds of different places of the newly-built institute of thefarm, he was very satisfied and an official told him that the researchers weredetermined to repay the favour shown by the Party with better successes in research.
He said with a bright smile on his face that he was also pleased and there’snothing to spare for the researchers of this farm, noting we should only believein the strength of science and technology and rely on our clear-headedscientists and technicians.
Looking up to him who impressed on them the importance of the scientificand technical force, the officials were very excited.
After a while, he noted that in order to implement the policy of theWorkers’ Party of Korea on the agricultural revolution it was important for officialsto strengthen the field of scientific research on agriculture, treat scientistsand technicians preferentially and actively arouse their creative enthusiasm.
That day he said that today, the age of the knowledge-based economy andthat of the information industry, we will be strong if we hold fast to scienceand technology and we will be weak if we fail to do so, and that the developmentspeed of science and technology is that of the country.
The accompanying officials kept in mind his precious instruction whichtaught them that if they develop science and technology, they can exhibitinfinite strength, but if they neglect them, they can neither realize the dreamof building a powerful country nor defend the survival of the people.
They realized once again the precious truth that to hold fast to scienceand technology and do all work by relying on them is the way to become the strong.
