In the historic days beforethe end of a year six years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un made a field inspectiontour on horseback of the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area.
On one of the days, when hevisited the Paektusan Secret Camp, he looked at the red flag fluttering on theheadquarters log cabin, saying, “Look at that flag, Comrades! Though small, thered flag kindled the flames for national liberation and aroused the storm ofPaektu.”
He must have been filled withprofound emotion.
The red flag fluttering in theblizzards of Mt Paektu was associated with the personality traits of President Kim Il Sung as a legendary great manwho had elaborated the extraordinary strategy and tactics to defeat theJapanese imperialist gangsters armed to the teeth and the great plan fornational liberation at the headquarters of the Korean revolution, the supreme generalstaff of the anti-Japanese revolutionary war.
That day the General Secretaryapproached and held the pole of the flag, saying that he found himself lost indeep thought at the sight of the shining red flag fluttering at the headquartersof the Paektusan Secret Camp.
Looking at the fluttering redflag, he said that though it was simple, the flag was not lowered even in thesnowstorm of the northern area for decades.
His words were expressing theprofound revolutionary philosophy of the red flag, which, as a banner ofstruggle, instils the conviction of sure victory into all people though timepasses and the revolution advances far.
Though everything in the worldchanges, we should carry out the revolution, holding higher the red flag of therevolution associated with the whole life of the President. This was the faiththe General Secretary taught, looking solemnly at the red flag telling how theKorean revolution was pioneered and has achieved victories.
