It was oneday in January 2015 when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Ryuwon Footwear Factory.
After learningabout the technical innovations made by the factory, he said that to produce qualityfootwear along with the development of the times, it is necessary to introducenew technologies properly and give priority to designing. Then heearnestly said that thefactory should produce footwearpopular with andpreferred by the people and those for different uses.
He continued to give instructions at the sample products hall as he is always concerned to make all the footwear of the factory famous products and commodities favoured by the people.
After taking a football boot held out by anofficial of the factory, he estimated how strongly its upper and sole bonded together and stressed that the quality of trainers shouldbe assessed by players.
At theshoemaking workshop, he looked carefully at products and wore a worried expression as he noticedthat all their insoleswere flat.
He said that insoles should be made to suit the soles of feet and gavea detailed instruction that footwear should be not only good to look at but also convenient towear.
Lookingup to his benevolentimage, officials grasped his noble intention that the demand of the people is just the standard of assessing thequality of products and that the quality of products should be guaranteed on the basis of assessment by the people.
