The sci-tech sector has made notable achievements conducive to the economic development of the country and the improvement of the people’s standard of living.
According to data available, over a hundred achievements received a certificate of introduction of sci-tech hits of national significance in 2025.
Kim Il Sung University succeeded in developing and introducing a technique of improving the efficiency of the gas generator process and an AI-based optimum system for controlling boiler combustion air, and manufactured a non-contact water supply pipeline leaking detector.
Kim Chaek University of Technology developed an efficient drawing technique, a simulation system for operating thermal power stations and an upper drive motor for drilling machine.
Scientists at the State Academy of Sciences perfected a technique of desalinating Lake Kangnyong, established an intelligent integrated production system at the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm, and introduced silicone sealing adhesive and rust-proof paint into the construction sector.
The Academy of Agricultural Science developed a grain crop cultivation technique conducive to minimizing damage from inundation and a technique of cultivating nutrient cold-bed rice seedlings.
Technicians of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex and the Musan Mining Complex developed methods of producing electric-driven wireless trolley, bearing steel by using pig iron and a new welding rod, and established a line of producing parts of rotary drill.
