Jonjin Senior Middle School newly built in Pyongyang’s Rangnang District is an all-in-one educational institution in which different kinds of courses from kindergarten to senior middle school are given in a unified way and in close coordination.
With the school building, kindergarten and gym sprawling over some 19 300 square metres, the school provides the students and children with fine educational environment and conditions so that they can receive continuous education and practical training as suited to their abilities and aptitudes.
It has classrooms for kindergarten, primary school and junior and senior middle school courses, as well as outdoor study site and multi-functional hall, furnished with educational and sporting equipment and school fixtures that meet the trend of modern education and pedagogical requirements.
Every classroom has a TV set, projector and screen, complete with visual aids that help students enhance knowledge.
There are also a wide range of laboratories for chemistry, physics, AI, woodcraft, cooking and virtual reality, in which students can acquire broad and special knowledge.
The outdoor study site on the top of the school building has solar panels, various visual aids for common knowledge, green area, benches and other things necessary for learning and rest.
The general lecture room is so spacious as to give a lecture for all the students of a school year and hold a joint departmental gathering of teachers, and the gym offers venue for sporting, musical and other kinds of events.
The kindergarten boasts sufficient educational conditions for giving pre-school education at a high level.
